This Frank Lyman gown is pure elegance. Champagne and silver sequins cover the whole dress, so it catches the light softly from every angle without feeling over the top.

The neckline is the star. A wide, pleated drape sweeps across from one shoulder and falls over the opposite arm, so you show off one shoulder while your upper arm stays covered. Gentle ruching through the body is flattering and skims over the tummy and hips.

The sheath shape follows your figure and falls to the floor, with a slight flare at the hem so it moves nicely when you walk. It’s fully lined, and the fabric has a little stretch (97% polyester, 3% elastane), so it’s comfortable to wear all night. It fastens with a zip at the back.

It’s ideal for a black-tie gala, an awards night, a Christmas party or a special birthday. Keep accessories simple with silver or clear heels and small earrings, and let the sequins do the work.

We have one of these gowns, and it fits a UK 12 to 14. It’s approximately 140cm (55″) long and is made in Canada.

Care: Hand wash in cold water or on a hand wash cycle. Don’t bleach. Lay flat to dry. Low iron if needed. Do not dry clean.
