A neckline that flatters and covers

The Averina by Labella has a wide Bardot collar that wraps across the front in soft pleats. It sits just off the shoulders, so you show a little shoulder and collarbone while the tops of your arms stay covered. As a result, you won’t need to wear a jacket or bolero on top.

A shape that skims the tummy

A slim waistband, edged top and bottom with fine beading, defines your waist. Below it, the fabric gathers at one hip and falls into a fitted pencil skirt. The gathering skims over the tummy and hips, while the skirt gives you a long, elegant line. A small split at the front also makes it easy to walk and climb steps.

The dress is made from Mikado, a rich fabric with a soft sheen. It’s structured, so it holds its shape beautifully and smooths rather than clings.

The back is the showstopper

Turn around, and the collar dips into a V at the back, finished with a large bow and a matching rosette. It’s the detail guests will see during the ceremony, so it looks beautiful in photos from every angle.

Colour and styling

The bright fuchsia shade is bold and joyful, and it suits spring, summer and autumn weddings. Labella call this shade Candy Pink. For styling, try silver or nude heels, a matching fuchsia fascinator or hatinator, and drop earrings. Please note the fascinator shown in the photos is not included.

Size and fit

We have one Averina dress left, in a UK 16. This style comes up small, so it fits more like a UK 14. If you’re not sure, the best way to check is to try it on.
